So I am working of one pattern. And honestly after about 5 hats (sure using 2 colours) it gets a tad boring. So I was looking to change things up a bit and play with the pattern. A small modification later, I had my first version of the braid hat. Not entirely happy with it, per se, but it is soft and at this point I am going to count it towards my goal.
Some deep thought later, I decided to slow down my decreases an out came the perfect (or near so) version of my vision. The cone on top looks more like a cone then a stem. The full out braid was replaced by a chain made with both colours. And voila - I am happy and I have a pattern to follow.
