The lace

After a while working off the same pattern I wanted to add a little variety. A quick search landed me at this pattern Lace Edged Preemie Hat and I began playing with it. I have really been trying to make hats on the smaller side, more suitable to for the 2-3 pound range baby (since that would be about Nastassia's size). So after one attempt at the original pattern I have reduced the cast on stitches from 63 to 45 (still divisible by the repetition of the pattern) and here is the result so far.
